Noida girl Srishti Kaur bags Miss Teen Universe 2017 title
Noida's Srishti Kaur beat 25 contestants from around the world to take home the crown.
The year 2017 has brought life-changing
news for Srishti Kaur.
On Tuesday, Srishti, a resident of Noida, was
crowned Miss Teen Universe 2017. She won the annual beauty pageant after
beating 25 contestants from around the world.
Annual event, Miss Teen Universe, was held at Managua, the capital Nicaragua, US, this year.
Other finalists who made it to the Top 3 were Mexico's Ary Trava and Canada's Samantha Pierre.
Srishti also won an award for the best national costume, which featured a beautiful ensemble of India's national bird, the peacock.
According to the Hindustan Times, Srishti is a former student of Lotus Valley International in Noida, and is currently studying at London School of Fashion.
Srishti had also bagged the title of Miss Teen Tiara International earlier this year. Miss Teen Universe is a beauty pageant for girls aged between 15 and 19 that was started six years ago by Miss Universe pageant organisers.
